Body Worn Cameras

Effective December 31, 2021, all detectives employed by the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office will utilize Body Worn Cameras (BWC’s) in accordance with New Jersey Attorney General Directive 2021-5 (Body Worn Camera Directive) and Volume 5, Chapter 13 (Body Worn Camera Directive) of the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office Standard Operating Procedures.

The photographs below depict a detective wearing a body worn camera and a photograph of the actual body worn camera so that citizens can clearly identify if a detective is wearing a body camera and can clearly identify a body worn camera.
