RESCUE Resource Center – 770 Route 40, Pilesgrove
Anonymously drop off your prescription medications & vapes (with battery removed)
Did you know that medications in your home can be a gateway to addiction and help to fuel the opioid epidemic? Did you know that addiction kills more Americans than car accidents? The majority of opioid addictions and prescription drug abuse begins in the medicine cabinets of friends and family. We can help you remove these unwanted medications from your home whether they are old, unwanted or expired – no questions asked.
Taking this free and easy opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinet not only helps you declutter, but helps prevent theft, drug abuse and can potentially save lives. In partnership with the DEA and law enforcement across the country, the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office will collect your unwanted tablets, capsules, patches, and other prescription drugs. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain tightly sealed in their original container. Please also bring your vaping devices and cartridges, with the batteries removed. We cannot accept syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs.
