kids-roomThe Salem County MAPSA will be hosting, “HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT”. Because of the overwhelming response that Cumberland County Municipal Alliance has had with this program, they have graciously extended the program to Salem County. This is an awareness program for parents and adults ONLY. The program is an interactive exhibit designed to resemble a teenager’s bedroom. The room will contain 100+ items which may be indicative of dangerous and risky behaviors. The audience typically has 30 minutes to “snoop and search”, which allows the audience to walk through and observe the bedroom. It will then be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and discussion. Some of the topics include current trends, alcohol and substance use, juvenile crime, risky games/behaviors and other challenges.
