Eighteen people were arrested when the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office Criminal Investigation Division conducted “quality of life” operations in Salem and Penns Grove in the first half of March, Salem County Prosecutor John T. Lenahan said Tuesday.

The following people were arrested as part of the operations, according to police:

• John Barnes, 62, of Salem, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a quantity of less than 50 grams, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute in a quantity of less than one ounce, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute while within 500 feet of a public housing facility and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had an outstanding warrant from Trenton Municipal Court. He was held in the Salem County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,500 bail.

• Richard Pauls, 55, of Salem, was charged with two counts of possession of a CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription legend narcotics not in the proper container. He also had a warrant out of Delaware. He was held in the county jail without bail.

• Dante Moore, 43, of New Castle, Delaware, was charged with possession of CDS in a quantity of less than 50 grams, possession of prescription legend narcotics, distribution of prescription legend narcotics and possession of less than one ounce of CDS with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.

• Terrell Seals, 30, of Salem, was arrested and charged with possession of CDS in a quantity of less than 50 grams. He was released on a summons.

• Mark Merola, 52, of Carneys Point, was charged with possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of prescription legend drugs not in the proper container. He was released on a summons.

• Catherine Kobylinski, 59, of Salem, was charged with possession of a CDS and was released on a summons.

• Jessica Soto, 18, of Penns Grove, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of CDS and was released on a summons.

• Maria Soto, 48, of Penns Grove, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of CDS and was released on a summons.

• Tjmere Sye, 20, of Salem, was charged with possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespassing. He was released on a summons.

• Phillip King Jr., 18, of Salem, was arrested on a warrant out of Salem City Municipal Court and was held in the county jail in lieu of $750 bail.

• Requan Daniels, 19, of Salem, was charged with defiant trespassing and was released on a summons.

• Felix Figueroa, 49, of Penns Grove, was arrested on a warrant out of Salem County Superior Court and was held in the county jail in lieu of $2,517 bail.

• Leslie Hill, 25, of Salem, was arrested on a warrant out of East Greenwich Municipal Court and was held in the county jail in lieu of $900 bail.

• Lydel Parsons, 40, of Penns Grove, was arrested on a warrant out of Salem County Superior Court and was held in the county jail in lieu of bail.

• Eddie Rivera, 28, of Penns Grove, was arrested on a warrant out of Deptford Municipal Court and was released on his own recognizance.

• Antonio Lewis, 22, of Penns Grove, was arrested on a warrant out of Penns Grove Municipal Court and was held in the county jail in lieu of $830 bail.

• Jose Figueroa, 22, of Penns Grove, was arrested on a warrant out of Penns Grove Municipal Court and was held in county jail in lieu of $751 bail.

• Shahid, 39, of Penns Grove, was arrested on a warrant out of Penns Grove Municipal Court and was released on a summons.
