National Crime Victims’ Rights Week
April 23-29, 2023
On behalf of the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office, we would like to invite you to our opening event commemorating National Crime Victims Rights Week that will take place on April 24, 2023, at 10:00am in the Martin LutherKing Park, Salem NJ ~ (located across from the Salem County Superior Court House). Each year, counties throughout the United States participate in paying homage to victims of crime during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
This year’s theme is “Survivor Voices: Elevate. Engage. Effect Change.” This theme calls upon communities to amplify the voices of survivors and create environments where survivors have the confidence that they will be heard, believed, and supported. Victims and survivors of crime will join with law enforcement, community agencies, and community leaders as we support and empower crime victims. A candlelight vigil wil also take place in honor of ALL victims of crime.
Your attendance is appreciated as we take a moment to honor and support victim rights. Please confirm your attendance andregister by April 17, 2023, via email to: or (856) 935-7510 Ext 8364. We look forward to your presence and sharing this momentous event with you.
